How does it work?
Simply fill out the ‘Request a Tutor’ form with your details, subject needs and time availability and we will be in contact with you within 48 hours.
How do I organise a lesson with my tutor?
After we contact you and discuss your needs, we will find a tutor that matches you best. They will contact you via phone call or text and discussions will take place form there.
What subject areas do you offer?
We cover all VCE 1/2 and 3/4 subjects alongside all subjects in Year levels 7 to 10.
Is the tutoring conducted in-person or online?
The location of the tutoring is dependent on you and what you as a parent and/or student prefer. Our tutors are flexible and can work online or in-person depending on your requirements.
How much will tuition cost?
The cost of tuition for VCE Students is $65/hr and for Years 7-10 it is $55/hr.
Do all our tutors have a Working with Children’s Check?
Yes, safety is our priority at TMJ. All of our tutors have a valid Working with Children’s Check
What if my child doesn’t make any progress or doesn’t connect with the tutor you have provided?
Obviously we wholeheartedly believe in all our tutors to deliver the upmost support. But if you find that your child isn’t making any progress or isn’t clicking with the tutor we have allocated, we are more than happy to engage in discussions surrounding finding you a new tutor etc.
Can I cancel a lesson?
Yes, you can cancel a lesson whether that be to timing issues, events etc. and you will not be charged for your cancellation.
Does it have to be weekly, or can I choose the frequency? What is the duration of a lesson?
The frequency and duration of sessions is entirely decided by you and your tutor. It can be weekly for one hour or fortnightly for an hour and a half. Entirely up to you and the tutor.
