Hello! My name is Addrita, and I am a first-year international student from Bangladesh. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University. I obtained an A+ABB on my GCE A-Levels, equivalent to an ATAR score of 98. When I am not studying ahead of my classes, I usually listen to music while reading a good book or watching the latest movie. I used to tutor many students alongside my studies, and I found immense joy in helping them understand their content and grow more confident in their studies and themselves. I believe that every child has their own pace for learning, and every single one of them is capable of doing extremely well in academics, and I would love to help them out in any way possible!

Hi, I’m Charlie! I graduated with an ATAR of 99.05. However, in my view, being a great tutor goes far beyond obtaining impressive scores yourself – it stems from the passion and genuine interest in the learning process, and the content and knowledge to be consumed! As someone who suddenly had an epiphany (thanks to some wonderfully inspirational teachers) to view school and the learning process in this way – a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow, expand your horizons if you will – I approached learning with an innate passion and motivation just came naturally. I hope to impart this outlook to my tutees and am greatly excited by the opportunity to do so.Having juggled numerous commitments during my final years of high school – balancing part-time work, serving as a school prefect, taking on leadership positions in our school cadet unit, actively participating in club and First-level school sports and music ensembles – I truly understand the stress of VCE but also the mindset required to still succeed in your studies without compromising on the other things that are important in your life. As a tutor, my ultimate objective is to bring out the best in my students, whatever that might entail for each of them.I am currently studying a double degree of commerce and engineering at Monash University and in my free time I love singing, dancing and listening to music, playing cricket and travelling!

Hi, my name is Natalia! I am 20 years old and am currently in my third year at Monash University, studying a double degree in Law (honours) and Commerce. In 2021, I graduated from St Catherine’s School with an atar of 98.95. I achieved academic excellence in years 11 and 12 and received the Units 1&2 and 3&4 subject awards for Business Management. In 2022, I assisted in the creation of the Units 1&2 and 3&4 Business Management Edrolo textbooks which incorporate study design changes that have been implemented in 2023 by VCAA. In 2023, I completed the same process for the Units 1&2 and 3&4 Legal Studies Edrolo textbooks. While working at Edrolo, I was required to complete a wide variety of tasks, from writing definitions and summarising information, to interpreting individual study design dot points and formulating practice exam questions. These skills, along with my past tutoring experience, will allow me to provide assistance, guidance and resources to each student to study and learn effectively.

I’ve always loved biology and psychology I am very familiar with the current syllabus and would be able to help you reach your best potential. I would love to tutor students simply because I understand how difficult navigating high school can be, especially if you’re struggling with a particular subject. As such, I want to help you in any way I can to ensure you get the possible grades and leave your secondary education happy and fulfilled. I also hope to build a strong relationship with you and become someone who you can depend on and reach out to, regardless of the matter at hand.

Hey everyone! My name is Purva, and I’m a second year Genetics & Genomics student at Monash University. I’ve always loved science, and I can credit a lot of that to some of the amazing teachers and tutors I’ve had growing up. Without them, I would never have seen how truly fascinating biology and chemistry could be. I’d love to inspire the same love for science in others, which is why I’ve decided to work with TMJ Tutoring. I’m incredibly excited to get started on my journey as a tutor!

Hi, I am Tiancong Shen, born in Nanjing, China and moved to Australia in 2019 when I was 14. I graduated from high school in 2023 with an ATAR of 99.80 and am currently studying Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of New South Wales. I have many interests outside of school studies. I am an avid civil aviation enthusiast and enjoy studying the differences between different types of aircraft, as well as taking flights to different cities during holidays to experience different styles of airlines and airports. I also love Japanese anime and have studied Japanese on my own outside of school hours and plan to spend a month travelling around Japan on my own sometime in the next two years. My favourite extracurricular sport is badminton, and I was captain of the badminton team in high school for two consecutive years (Yr 11 and 12). I believe a good balance in time consumption between academic studies and private hobbies can help learn better in a more relaxed mood. I’m confident in tutoring VCE Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Physics and Chinese, and I hope tutoring sessions with me can help VCE students enjoy school life and meet their academic goals.

My name is Tom Hall and I am a 19 year old graduate from St Kevins College in 2022 with an ATAR of 99.25. In 2023, I commenced study at Monash University, undertaking a double degree of Law/Arts.
As Deputy College Captain at school I was heavily involved in a variety of programs; including rowing in the 1st VIII for two years, addressing the school community at events and assemblies, singing in vocal ensemble as choir captain and playing the role of Jean Valjean in the senior school production of Les Miserables. Beyond study, my range of hobbies and interests include reading, running, riding, gym, and catching up with mates.
At school, what worked for me was setting clear and achievable goals for each subject/assessment/study session and sticking to these goals. An itemised list of what needs to be achieved and how, alongside the required discipline and determination to achieve set targets, is critical to academic success in VCE. Throughout my VCE journey I found my passion for learning, and now endeavour to inspire others to achieve their personal academic best. This is done by working smarter, allocating time and resources only to what is necessary, and through the guidance, motivation and inspiration of those you surround yourself with.
