Hi! I’m Kate and I graduated from Caulfield Grammar in 2021. I’m currently at Melbourne University majoring in Ancient History. I enjoy reading, watching movies and hanging out with my friends. I’m very passionate about History and English and I enjoy helping students really dig into literary themes and the causes and consequences of historical events. There’s always something to learn from even your most boring English novels! I was a boarder at Caulfield and so understand the struggle of having to adjust to a new school environment and life that’s quite different from living in a small country town. I also think being organised at school is very important and struggled with it a bit during Covid-19 so I’m happy to help anyone with tips for time management and efficient studying. I’m very passionate about learning and make an effort to ensure every student has the resources to do their very best

As a recent November 2021 IB graduate from Carey Baptist Grammar School, I want to help you (or your child) succeed. As of now, I am studying Law & Commerce at Monash University, but precious time is spent playing and watching golf, basketball, and essentially any other popular sport. Leisure time is very important to me. As such, I will try to provide effective tips to ensure not all of your time (or your child’s time) is spent studying, and that desired grades become more tangible. My name is Tom Hall and I am a 19 year old graduate from St Kevins College in 2022 with an ATAR of 99.25. In 2023, I commenced study at Monash University, undertaking a double degree of Law/Arts.
As Deputy College Captain at school I was heavily involved in a variety of programs; including rowing in the 1st VIII for two years, addressing the school community at events and assemblies, singing in vocal ensemble as choir captain and playing the role of Jean Valjean in the senior school production of Les Miserables. Beyond study, my range of hobbies and interests include reading, running, riding, gym, and catching up with mates.
At school, what worked for me was setting clear and achievable goals for each subject/assessment/study session and sticking to these goals. An itemised list of what needs to be achieved and how, alongside the required discipline and determination to achieve set targets, is critical to academic success in VCE. Throughout my VCE journey I found my passion for learning, and now endeavour to inspire others to achieve their personal academic best. This is done by working smarter, allocating time and resources only to what is necessary, and through the guidance, motivation and inspiration of those you surround yourself with.
